About Us

At MISA, our student population is guided by a Professional Teacher and Student Management Team. Our faculty and staff work together to create Ontario Ministry of Education approved curriculum plans that are centered around the international student experience. All of our teachers are licensed in Ontario (many with M.A.’s and PhD’s). Together, our Professional Teacher and Student Management team creates an educational atmosphere in which the teacher-student ratio is maintained at a maximum of 1:10 in each subject. The International-Canada counselling team assists students in resolving problems in their studies and daily lives in a timely manner, allowing their parents to not only relax, but also witness the growth and educational success of their children as MISA students regularly receive awards for their academic performances in Mathematics and the Sciences.

1) Scientific and Reasonable Course Arrangement

The course schedule is compact and professionally guided by our Professional Teacher and Student Management Team. Ideally, students have the option of studying 12-16 Ontario credits courses each year, a rate twice as rapid as Ontario’s traditional Public School teaching methods. We also offer our students dozens of options for extracurricular activities to help our international student body grow into responsible, well-rounded young adults while discovering what career they want to pursue and which university they want to attend. MISA’s intensive, yet reasonable course arrangement is custom designed to cater to the needs and interests of each student in ways which cultivate each student’s natural gifts and talents, communication skills, team spirit, logical thinking and leadership skills.

2) Customized Planning and Guidance

Each year, admissions officials from major Canadian universities are invited on campus to introduce students to the professional admissions requirements and answer various questions about university life and the application procedure. Our professional in-school application counselling team makes make one-on-one plans, and provides individual assistance, for each graduate, as we guide them through the detailed admission procedures.

3) Professional Teacher and Student Management Team

The teaching teachers are all licensed teachers in Ontario, and 70% of the teachers have a master’s degree or above. The teacher-student ratio is maintained at a maximum of 1:10 in each subject. Our teachers are responsible and create curriculum plans based on the characteristics of international students so that students can adapt to the new learning environment as soon as possible. The China-Canada counselling team assists students in resolving problems in their studies and daily lives in a timely manner, allowing their Chinese parents to relax. The China-Canada counselling team helps students solve the problems encountered in their studies and daily life in a timely manner so that parents who are in China can feel at ease.

4) Stable High Enrollment Rate

MISA maintains a 100% university acceptance. Our graduates receive offers of admission to the top 50 world-ranked universities and are awarded substantial scholarships and more than 83% of them received an offer from the University of Toronto. Our goal is to facilitate each student’s acceptance into their first-choice post-secondary institution. 

5) Rich and Interesting Extracurricular Activities

Dozens of extracurricular activities are provided to help students discover where they want to go, which enables students to have more choices for the future. Cultivate students’ communication skills, team spirit, logical thinking and leadership skills.
