Marty Rempel

Marty Rempel received his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alberta and has been involved in all levels of education from kindergarten to University and adult education over the last four decades.

Department Head Teacher and Guidance

Antonija Murphy

Antonija has been a teacher for 12 years. She is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, with primary focuses on Guidance and English studies. Possessing multiple degrees from the University of Toronto, Seneca@York University and Niagara University; including a Master’s degree in Communications from the University of Western Sydney Australia. Her passion for teaching and for her student’s well-being has made her not only a dedicated educator but an inspirational leader. Antonija brings her knowledge to the classroom, and an unparalleled passion for her students; helping them achieve, and exceed their goals.

B.A. (Honors), M.A., Ph.D. (Comparative Literature)

Ryan Fics

Ryan Fics earned a Bachelor of Arts (honors) and a Joint Master of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg, and has a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Emory University. During his time as a Master’s student at the University of Manitoba, he worked as an intern at one of Canada’s premier academic journals, Mosaic: An Interdisciplinary Critical Journal. Ryan’s goal as an educator is not only to teach, but to awaken. His teaching methodology involves facilitating a fun, interactive learning environment for the thoughtful acquisition and continuous development of the necessary tools students need to thrive in a changing world.

Monica Benjamin

Monica Benjamin has over 8 years of teaching experience. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and has attained diplomas in Food and dairy technology, and advanced Biotechnology. She earned her triple majors in Biotechnology, Genetics, and Chemistry from Bangalore University. Monica is also a singer and vocal trainer. Her artistic skills extend to highly detailed pencil sketches and acrylic work. She takes pride in helping her students learn in an academically engaging environment that fosters creativity to achieve their goals.
